We at RB are looking for a Plant Purchase Manager. The role has responsibility for implementation of Purchasing driven and NPD/NPI supplier related projects in Procurement portfolio in the factory, supplier Scorecard and BCP action implementation. The incumbent will work in partnership with a highly successful and dynamic business and implement purchasing strategies for direct materials with close involvement with the functions: Pack Development, Quality, Production, Controlling, and Engineering.    Scope/Dimensions of the Role  - Responsible for the lead and implementation of purchasing projects within the responsible portfolio. Speed of implementation and good at first time are key parameters. Impacts COGS, Speed to Market and Service by effective implementation of projects  - Plays key role in NPD/NPI process in the factory and acts like interface between factory and Central Procurement  - The role encompasses relationship/networking with other functions such as Central Procurement, Engineering, Production, Pack Development/SSG and Controlling.   Responsibilities   Capacity Management  - PPM to participate in NPD meetings and update CP on key decisions/issues/minutes.  - Lead implementation of supplier capacity security projects in the factory   Sourcing and Allocations  - Contribute to supplier assessments, decision criteria and final recommendations.  - Support Central Procurement in preparation of tenders (samples, specification, information).   - Start-up and execution plan in co-operation with Packaging, SSG, Manufacturing   Ordering, Call off & Forecasting Process  - Control and approval of invoices for samples and trials for items requested by Central Procurement.  - Communicates to CP the factory requirements (done by NPI in the quotation file for NDM)   Vulnerability Analysis and Contingency Plans  - Lead the project and share the CS template with the supplier and Central Procurement. Escalate to CP if supplier is not responding or willing to cooperate with local factory needs.   NPD & Sourcing studies  - Implement new supplier/materials for NPD. Start-up and execution plan in co-operation with Packaging, SSG, and Manufacturing. Inform Central Procurement about NPD meeting decisions/status.  - Provide data (e.g. formulas, volumes per pack type/formula for benchmarks)  - Confirmation of LT / MOQ etc for NPD   Supplier relationships & Scorecards  - Create/develop the local relationship.  - Maintain scorecards in the factory  - Chase inputs from other functions in case delays.   Supplier & Material Change  - Create the supplier in the system per the "supplier creation" template info.  - Ensure that the supplier is qualified/ Implement new suppliers/materials in the factory (follow up with other functions).  - Execute specification changes, materials handling and other changes. Create the supplier in the system per the "supplier creation" template info.   NPS  - Indentify NPS savings opportunities.   - Lead sourcing and tendering process for NPS above agreed limit.   - NPS cost review. NPS and Capex savings calculation and reporting   Project Management  - Lead implementation of Purchasing driven projects  - Monthly PPV savings projects update - what has been implemented  - Preparation for Industrial Trial: order materials / alignment meetings   Professional Attributes  - In-depth experience of Procurement Management, at least 4 years.  - Degree qualified preferably in Engineering & MBA preferred.  - High degree of fluency of English is required for negotiations and internal communications.
