Job Title : Project Manager  Department : Information Technology  Grade : MGR/SM  Location : NOC  Reporting To : Head - Program Management and Governance  Position Purpose :  - Manage and own Technology Projects from inception to go-live and closure.  - Define, own and implement project governance best practices.  - Executing tasks (end-to-end) covering similar areas, which may be delegated.  - Preparation and monitor project plans and delivery schedules.  - To manage the PM team as and when required.  Position Responsibilities :  Key Responsibilities :  Accountable for delivering as per financial and non-financial targets :  - Application Projects.  - Business aligned projects.  - Application Enhancement Projects.  - Core IT Infrastructure Fit out projects.  - Branch Setups.   - Preparation and Compliance of Program Management Framework.   - Formulation of project governance framework and ongoing monitoring through standard measurement systems &controls.  - Manage Steering committee meeting, Preparation of meeting agenda, publishing MOMs, tracking of pending action items, preparing risk and issue log, action log and Resource time tracking & management  - Manage stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively within IT, Security, Application, BSG, line of business and other corporate support functions.   - Preparation and tracking of project plans and scorecards to achieve agreed time and cost deliverables.   - Managing project efficiency & quality checks. Prepare &present findings to management team  - Manage the team of Project Managers as and when required.  Qualifications :  Essential : Graduate any discipline  Preferred : MBA/ CAIIB / Post Graduate  Industry certification like ITIL, Microsoft, BM, Oracle etc  Project Management professional certification (e.g. Prince 2, PMI, etc.)  Essential :   - Minimum 6-10 years project management experience, in a role that requires involvement and understanding of banking business activities, requirement gathering, project plan preparation and tracking, setting up infrastructure requirement and final delivery.   - Extensive experience in organization wide application implementation.  - Functional experience in at least one of business verticals (Retail, Corporate, Agri, Cards).  - Excellent communication and influencing skills.  Technical Skills - Working knowledge of the following:  Operating Systems : Windows, Linux  RDBMS : MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MS access  Information Security : Knowledge of firewalls, VPN  Middleware : IBM ESB  Database : SQL, Oracle, MS access  Banking application : Finacle, GanaSeva, Payments platforms,  Office softwarE : MS Word, Ms Project, MS Powerpoint  Web Tools : HTML, XML etc  PM & workflow tools : MS Project, SharePoint, JIRA, Project Server  Project Management : Best practices across project lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Monitoring, Risk assessment, Cost, Quality, Closure).   Professionalism :To conduct assigned duties with good judgment and in good faith  Achieving Results : Being result oriented.   Should ensure : On time delivery- and - First time Right- both.  People Skills :   Dealing with a cross section of colleagues, influencing skills and building bridges to achieve desired results  Communication :   Demonstrate effective communication, both orally and in writing, with subordinates, colleagues, clients and seniors.
