We are looking for an aggressive sales person with thorough understanding of the government procurement process, working out strategies and alliances with eligible tender/ RFP bidding partners, developing and maintaining trusted relationships with senior level decision makers and other key personnel of end customers & partners are key aspects of this role.  This position will also require the Sales Manager to work directly with the key government accounts including Central & State ministries, Defense & other PSUs, as well as with partners & consultants.  Key Responsibilities:  Drive sales revenue across government verticals including Ministries, Central & State government establishments, Defense establishments & PSUs, leveraging established and new partner channels and sales acumen across India.  Thorough understanding of the government procurement process.  Thorough understanding of the consultant & partner ecosystem. Will be independently handling large multiple RFPs/ Tenders/ Bids with multiple bidders to secure wins.  Acquiring information about government budgets, fund allocations, projects and identifying business opportunities.  Demonstrate the ability to manage conversations at all senior bureaucrats, decision makers & influencers of government organizations.  Identifying opportunities to strategically position the organizations leadership on high visibility platforms with the Government bodies.  Exceed bookings targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.  Develop and document a follow-up methodology to ensure consistent and ongoing coverage.  Work in a teaming environment which includes SEs, HQ.  Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute marketing plans.  Marshal and lead the appropriate technical resources to demonstrate Razorpay's advantages to the prospect, consultants & partners.  Maintain and expand your sales, Razorpay solutions, industry, market and competitive knowledge and skills.  Individual Contributor. No direct reports.  Business Travel -- Business travel of approximately 50 percent   Preferred Education -- Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in an IT, business or sales related field.  Work Experience:  10+ years of Government sales experience as Individual contributor who has clearly demonstrated results in Fintech/Payments domain.  Candidates from payments/fintech background preferred.
