Job description
Buy Side Equity Research Analyst
Analyze listed companies on the Indian Stock Exchanges
Creation of financial model to forecast key company financial metrics.
Recommend stock picks for trading and investment portfolios to fund managers
Write periodic research reports
Become an industry expert across sector of the economy covered
Skill Set & Experience
Experience of at least 1-2 years in sell side research is mandatory.
Only candidates displaying evidence of sell side equity analysis work such as samples of financial models and/or research reports may apply
In depth knowledge of at least one particular sector and listed companies within the Indian economy
Monitor the stock for changes (new information - especially quarterly & half yearly earnings reports) and keep all models under his/her jurisdiction up-to-date.
Attending analyst meets & conference calls for companies tracked
Speak to fund managers, HNI & other clientele of company
Qualifications MBA, CA or graduate with passion to track Indian markets
