The Role :   We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist who'll be responsible for creating efficient algorithms, improve data quality and develop predictive systems. This is a leadership role and the individual would be a key member of the team to deliver on our mission of "Simplifying Train Travel" in India.   You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, design and implement statistical analysis of consumer data to create analytic metrics and tools to build the next generation of mobile applications.   This role will give you the opportunity to change the way millions of train travelers in India use technology on a daily basis.   What we're looking :   - Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches   - Exceptional intellect and superior algorithmic problem-solving skills   - Strong background in statistical concepts, experience with real/live data   - Experience with statistical analysis tools (like R, SAS, SPSS)   - Experience with software development technologies   - Experience with Big Data tools   - Expert at data visualization and presentation   - Outstanding communication skills- written/verbal   - Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders   - Leadership potential   Experience :   Preferably between 8 -12 years of relevant experience from top-tier college/ university in India or outside India with strong academic records.
