While both demand and dependence on internet content and applications continue to grow, short and memorable domain names, or addresses, to access it, are in short supply.  Radix is one of the largest new gTLD applicant under ICANN's project to allow private companies to bid and operate new extensions, and expects to play a large role in the global diversification of the internet namespace.   So far Radix has won the rights to operate the following new extensions :  .website  .site  .online  .space  .tech  .press  .host  What Is The Job Like :   - The selected candidate will play a critical part in what will go down as one of the milestones in the history of the internet. The candidate will work on the various facets of the launch and sustenance of new domain extensions - .site, .online, .space etc. Radix is looking at opportunities to penetrate into the startup ecosystem with the launch of its exciting new domain extensions.   - As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible to identify key stakeholders (PE firms, incubators, angel investors, co-working spaces) in the startup ecosystem and onboard them as strategic partners to offer & promote Radix domains within their respective communities.  Your responsibilities will involve :  - Develop a deep understanding of the global startup ecosystem  - Identifying, and closing of strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem  - Develop lucrative partnership proposals to onboard key stakeholders from the startup ecosystem  - Garner deep involvement and ongoing support from all partners  - Representing Radix in various international startup & end-consumer events  - Plan road-trips to meet key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem on a regular basis  Who Should Apply For This Role :  - Has 6- 10 years of experience in BizDev or Sales.  - Is a go-getter and has a can-do attitude to 'find a way' and 'get things done'  - Is an exceptional communicator - blessed with the gift of gab, the candidate should possess superior written and verbal communication skills  - Is a sales shark - must possess superior powers of persuasion  - Possesses a strong business acumen - born to do business, you should be able to sense long-term, strategic business opportunities and have an instinctive ability to place the winning 'bets'  - Is a people's person - a natural conversationalist, always makes for enjoyable company and is effortlessly able to cut through social and cultural differences  - Is creative and is also comfortable with providing data-driven & numerical inferences
