Radio Mirchi - Station Head (7-10 yrs)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibility:
- To ensure that the topline and the bottomline targets of the station are achieved.
- To define the targets for the station in terms of revenue and profitability.
- To ensure that cost are kept low and profits are high.
- To ensure implementation of systems and procedures as formalized by corporate.
- To train, develop and guide team members reporting to him / her to achieve station objectives. Monitor and assess performance of team members reporting into the Station Head and ensure performance standards are met by all the team members in the Station
- To give feedback through reports about the market to the Corporate Office which will serve as inputs for next target setting period.
- Timely escalation of issues pertaining to regulatory / human resources etc to the corporate office
- Build radio as a category both at the listener and advertiser level
Other responsibilities:
- To build the image of the Radio Station through planned PR interventions and relationship with other media and media houses in the city
- To ensure that the technical equipment and infrastructure of each station is maintained and managed.
- To formulate strategies, explore new business avenues and new markets for radio.
ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports to Chief Operating Officer
- The person is required to work with significant independence and take guidance from the Chief Operating Officer

- Ad Scheduler
- Accountants
- FIM (Receptionist)
- Marketing Manager
- Station Engineer
The person is expected to recruit, train, motivate, discipline, assign and then evaluate work of the direct reportees.
