Quality Head - Mfg/Automotive

Currently we are looking for Head-Quality for one of the reputed Auto Client.The job location is based at Chennai.

The candidates must have worked in Automotive Tier I supplier to OEM preferably in Ford supplier. Candidate working in manufacturer of automotive fluid tubes, hoses and pipes will be ideal candidate.

Lead auditor certification is desirable.

Well versed with Ford Quality systems, and Q1 certification.

The candidates must have worked in Automotive Industry preferably manufacturer of automotive fluid tubes, hoses and pipes.

Job Description:

1. Responsible for all quality functions relating to Incoming, In-process, Outgoing Quality and able to drive all above functions.

2. Management Representative for systems audit such as TS16949 & EMS and all customer systems audit and adherence to the same.

3. Responsible for quality performance customer PPM, supplier PPM and customer rejections.

4. Able to Lead all advance quality Functions as per the APQP requirement of the new programs

5. Able to enhance the key suppliers quality ratings through drive of quality culture at key suppliers end.

6. Able to communicate globally across positions and functions.

7. Create quality culture & awareness in the entire organisation.

8. Analyse the quality performance of the plant & devise interventions to improve the overall quality performance.

9. Responsible for process audit & cost of poor quality.

10. Analysis, control and management of customer warranty issue.

11. Responsible to give corrective & preventive actions of quality issues & customer rejection.

12. To Monitor and ensure the Calibration of all Measuring and Testing Equipments.
