Such opportunities come once in a lifetime.  Minimum Skills Required  Quality Assurance Engineer shall have demonstrated knowledge and training in the ISO - 9000 series international standards, or equivalent. He shall be able to exercise judgement against the criteria of standards. He shall have a university engineering degree with a minimum of ten (10) years of direct experience in direct experience in Quality Assurance system activities of which five (5) years must be in managing Quality Management systems relating to work (eg oil, gas, petrochemical, infrastructure and communication projects), or a high school diploma or equivalent with minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in quality assurance system activities of which seven (7) years must be in managing quality systems relating to work (eg oil, gas, petrochemical, infrastructure and communication projects).  Desirable Skills  - Q.A. Engineer should have five (5) years Quality Management system experience in auditing activities in the discipline he is working in. Engineers should be qualified and competent in the discipline being audited , be familiar with Quality Management system standards and be able to exercise judgment against the criteria of the standards. Auditors must be able to communicate clearly in writing and orally. Auditors shall have satisfactorily completed a training course and passed the course examination. Auditors shall have participated in a number of four (4) audits for a total of atleast twenty (20) days including, documentation review , actual audit activities and audit reporting.  Job Description  - He will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project Quality plan in accordance with project requirements. He will prepare and conduct the quality system induction training program in which project personnel will participate.   - Through reviews and audits, he will identify shortcomings in the quality system implementation and issue non- conformance reports and recommendations for corrective actions to be taken.He will also be responsible to verify that such actions have been properly implemented.  The Q.A. Engineer Responsibilities include :  - Assist discipline and procurement engineers, during the project planning phase, in the definition of the quality related contractual provisions to be included in the contractual documents for supplies and contractors.  - Ensure, in compliance with procedures, the issuing and filling of quality reports and audit reports, including those relative to follow - ups on agreed corrective actions.  - Ensure the correct implementation of the project defined Quality management system through the planning and performance of quality audits on the various project positions, and monitoring the progress of specific work processes.  - Conduct, where required, external audits on the Quality Management system of suppliers, for Project qualification purposes.   - Lead and follow up the implementation of Management Review meeting action items.  - Follow up root cause analysis conducted by disciplines for non conformity and repeated violation and monthly basis and report the analysis and correct/preventive action on the Monthly Quality Management report.  - Determine a mechanism on how to ensure the Project personnel understanding the Contractor Quality Management system requirements.
