Head - Operations

- QI Back and Spine Clinic is a centre for treating patients suffering with back ailments. We have 24 clinics with over 200 best-in-class physiotherapists, the very best of technology and collaboration with the most qualified spine orthopedic doctors in India - allowing us to achieve consistent results for over 20,000 patients over 5 years.

- Operating medical clinics is a specialized job which requires an appreciation of the medical treatment provided, while bringing together the efficiencies and systems of Retail Management.

- The key job is to drive Revenues across the Qi Spine Clinics PAN India. However the role is not one which can be represented by metrics like maximizing revenue per SFT. It requires owning the patient journey from the time she walks into our clinics and facilitating the best medical protocols which allows for the most optimum treatment.

- The Head of Operations is supported by a large team of Patient Relationship Managers and works closely with HR, Clinic doctors, Administration and Marketing.

Job Description :

- Our Doctors are well qualified and trained. We have a large number of patients who start our treatment programs every day. Every patient visits the clinic multiple times over a few months. Scheduling calendars and matching the relevant doctor's time with the patients becomes an enabler for revenues. In Service Retail, utilizing capacity is the key metric. The Ops team plays a very important role in this.

- The front desk is managed by Patient Relationship managers who co-own the patients at Qi Spine Clinic. They closely track the patients- treatment and experience. This requires close working with the teams that provide the medical care and the administration teams. Maximizing patient satisfaction thus becomes a key job for the head of Ops. This in-turn allows for patients completing the entire treatment with us.

- Our clinics are centres of excellence in a neighborhood format. Each of the cities we exist in would typically have multiple clinics. For a network structure like this, good word of mouth is key. The same only happens if one, the patients get well - in time - in full and when the experience of visiting the clinic is top drawer. Driving patient referrals is hence a very important deliverable of this role.

- Supporting the doctors by handling all non-medical elements of a clinics while they focus completely on the medical treatment of the patients is a much valued requirement of the Ops team. Hence, driving the Patient Relationship team towards this is a key leadership requirement from this role.

- Any good team requires consistently evaluation, improvement and sourcing of talent. The Head of Ops will play a very involved role in each of the above three mentioned critical success factors.

- Should have had an experience of owning and driving revenue targets for different centres/ locations

- Must be strong in driving operational efficiency

- MBA

- Must have the ability to get into details to understand underlying problems.

- Must be able to involve oneself with the core product.

- Excellent interpersonal abilities. Must be able to work with cross-functional teams.

- Must be able to influence other stake holders to get work done with high focus on end results

- Must be able to manage teams across different locations

- Resourcefulness, tact and ability to work with speed.
