Specific services include analytics to uncover and realize new revenue and cost savings; information management to track and measure key strategic business metrics not available otherwise, and information strategy to identify ways of using information to increase competitive advantage and to improve underlying information architecture for sustained, cost-effective delivery of higher quality information throughout the enterprise.  Position: Manager  We are looking for experienced leaders with strong analytics and healthcare background (and overall professional experience of 7-12 years) to work in the Healthcare sector of our Information and Analytics Consulting practice in Mumbai.  Managers will be integral part of business analytics teams in India alongside consultants in the U.S., leading teams for high-end analytics consulting engagements, providing business recommendations to project teams, and helping provide leadership to the Analytics Consulting practice.  Education: B.Tech./B.E./Master's Degree/M.Phil./MBA from reputed institute(s) with relevant experience  Required Skills:  Successful candidates will have demonstrated the following skills and characteristics:  - Experience of having excelled in consulting/analytics environment  - Strong leadership and team-management skills, passionate about building team  - Experience in healthcare analytics and/or healthcare operations, In particular, experience in multiple areas related to healthcare analytics:  Pharmaceutical industry: Experience in commercial operations like sales territory alignment, sales force compensation strategy, multi-channel strategy  Pharmaceutical industry: Experience in R&D operations like clinical site selection, clinical sites monitoring  Health Insurance (Payer): Experience in working on healthcare claims data for various analysis related to (but not limited to) care management, utilization management, fraud, abuse and wastage analysis, population health management  Health Insurance (payer): Experience in working on marketing initiatives for health care insurance companies  Healthcare providers: Experience in working with provider claims data  - Strong aptitude along with good academic and professional background  - Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills  - Managed highly skilled and knowledge intensive teams  - Demonstrated contributions in firm and knowledge building activities such as recruitment, intellectual capital development, staffing, marketing, branding  - Actively involved in mentoring and training junior team-members  - Handled multiple projects simultaneously; structured projects/ engagements for the team  - Supported sales and business development activities  - Passion for building teams  - Exposure to advanced analytics methodologies such as Regression (Linear, Logistic, etc.), Cluster Analysis, CART/CHAID, etc.  - Knowledge of statistical data analysis software like SAS/SPSS/R  Roles and Responsibilities:  - Leadership   Help Healthcare Information & Analytics Practice make a bigger impact in Firm's overall positioning in the market  Inculcate the PwC values across teams  Work closely with the Analytics Practice and Firm leadership to grow the overall as well as healthcare practice  Define the scope of work and identify opportunities for over-delivering, creating intellectual capital and building reusable methodology/approach/delivery components  Help develop careers of and mentor junior team members  - Project Delivery and Management   Structure the approach and deliverables for multiple analytics engagements simultaneously  Manage communication and project delivery between India and US teams   Manage client expectations, presentations and act as subject matter expert on analytics discussions  Manage team members proactively   Help junior members develop the analytics path to align with overall project objective   Responsible for checking the methodology and results used by team   Help assess the impact of work, and conduct so-what analysis   Develop storylines and make presentations  - Firm Building & Intellectual Capital Development   Contribute to research, white papers, blog, and other IC development activities   Lead thought leadership efforts, generate new ideas for intellectual capital development  Develop Practice point-of-view on emerging issues and challenges in the areas of business analytics across industries  Lead recruitment efforts in India; lead campus and off-campus branding efforts in India.  - Business Development   Engage with International clients and adapt to different market maturity stages and business needs  Active contribution to business development and supporting pre-sales activities   Support market facing activities such as seminars, event participations  Help Partners/Directors across the firm in selling analytics projects by acting as a subject matter expert on business development initiatives  Act as Subject Matter Expert;
