Specific services include analytics to uncover and realize new revenue and cost savings; information management to track and measure key strategic business metrics not available otherwise, and information strategy to identify ways of using information to increase competitive advantage and to improve underlying information architecture for sustained, costeffective delivery of higher quality information throughout the enterprise.  Position: Director of Healthcare Analytics Practice  Education: B.Tech./B.E./Master's Degree/M.Phil./MBA from reputed institute(s) with relevant experience.  Responsibilities:  - This person will be a key leader within the PwC Data & Analytics team, who will lead the Healthcare Industry Vertical, which is one of the fastest growing sectors in the Analytics Consulting space. Managing the Healthcare vertical will involve the following:  - Overseeing a large number of business development efforts and client engagements in the Healthcare Analytics practice  - Coordinating with the Partner and other key members of the Healthcare Analytics leadership team to define and manage practice priorities; with the US/global teams  - Interfacing with key stakeholders in the Healthcare Industry vertical to address industry problems and generate demand for the Data & Analytics practice  - Guiding and overseeing the building of a Healthcare Analytics Knowledge Repository  - Engaging in demand and resource planning for the practice, and contributing to the recruitment strategy  - An additional responsibility would be to provide inputs to and provide SME/analytics support to teams defining/developing applications/intellectual property that would be useful for analytics engagements in the Healthcare sector  - This leader, in addition to bringing strong healthcare analytics leadership skills, will work collaboratively with other members of the Analytics leadership team to oversee firm development and management activities.  - This position presents a unique opportunity to be a part of a fast growing Analytics practice within PwC and help create significant business to our clients through the use of data and analytics.  Requirements:  - 12+ years of experience in the areas of Healthcare and Data Analytics (which should include at least 5 years of Healthcare Analytics), encompassing some of the following:  - Experience in healthcare analytics and/or healthcare operations, In particular, experience in multiple areas related to healthcare analytics:  - Pharmaceutical industry: Experience in commercial operations like sales territory alignment, sales force compensation strategy, multi-channel strategy  - Pharmaceutical industry: Experience in R&D operations like clinical site selection, clinical sites monitoring  - Health Insurance (Payer): Experience in working on healthcare claims data for various analysis related to (but not limited to) care management, utilization management, fraud, abuse and wastage analysis, population health management  - Health Insurance (payer): Experience in working on marketing initiatives for health care insurance companies  Healthcare providers:   - Experience in working with provider claims data  - Experience of having excelled in consulting/analytics environment  - Experience in population health management, hospital operations and cost quality measures  - Excellent organizational, leadership, decision making, team management and communications skills.  - Knowledge of advanced analytics/statistical/data mining techniques such as Regression (Linear, Logistic), Cluster Analysis, CART/CHAID  - Experience in Data Analytics tools such as SAS, R/Revolution R, SPSS  - Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, Cognos, Business Objects would be a plus.  - Demonstrated contributions in firm and knowledge building activities such as recruitment, staffing, marketing and branding  - Actively involved in mentoring and training junior team-members  - Capability to build/create a culture of quality, delivery, ownership, and high performance.  - Deep commitment to a positive, highly functional and productive work environment.  What we offer:  - Opportunity to work with an impressive array of leading companies that are strategically dependent on advisory  - An opportunity to work with fast paced and innovative environment along with a group of world-class entrepreneurial professionals.
