Purchase Manager - Telecom (7-10 yrs)
Designation: Purchase Manager
Job Description:
- Plan, organize, direct, manage, evaluate the purchasing policies and strategy of the company along with the Purchase Head
- Identification of opportunities for operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the proposal, bidding, and negotiation process while adhering to applicable legal standards and codes of ethical conduct.
- Ensure the adequacy of specifications for purchasing purposes
- Review supplier financial statements/reports and evaluate overall supplier health
- Investigate irregularities between physical inventories and records
- Respond to complaints by discussing the details with staff and recommending solutions
- Address purchasing related challenges using the appropriate problem-solving and investigation methods
Desired Profile:
Qualification: B.E. (Electronics /Electrical / Telecommunications) (Mandatory)
Relevant Experience:
- 7 - 10 years experience in Purchase for Telecom/Electronics/ IT Systems companies
Skills & Competencies:
- Leadership and people management.
- Negotiation skills
- Knowledge of quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective utilization, procurement of various resources/ equipments/ STBS
- Analytics
- System knowledge (preferably SAP).
