Open Position : Research Associate / Analyst

Background :

1- 3 years of experience with exposure involving market/ industry research, financial analysis, pitch book, company profile and report writing. Candidate having experience in equity/ credit research would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Preparing equity/credit and industry research reports and presentations.

- Understand and analyse financial statement and ratios.

- Conduct Economic, Industry and Company specific research.

- Develop an understanding of specific sectors and follow industry trends.

- Assist in taking on quality requirements of Research Group.

- Pull out interesting economic information covering MENA region for preparation of the newsletters circulated to the key clients of the region.

- Innovate and suggest improvements in the newsletter so that the client's interest is maintained.

Desired Attributes :

- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

- Sound understanding of accounting

- Good writing and analytical skills

- Exposure to databases such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters etc

Experience Required :

1 - 3 Years of Experience in financial research and analysis

Qualifications :

Graduate/ Post Graduate in Commerce/ Economics from a reputed college/ CFA Level 1 or 2.
