Designation : Manager/Assistant Vice President/Vice President - Project Appraisal

Location : Delhi

Educational Qualification :

Essential : BE/BTech (Elect/Mech) plus MBA) or CA/ICWA

Desirable : CFA

Work Profile :

- Due diligence of debt proposals from entity, technical and financial perspective

- Due-diligence of Promoter/ company

- Establish technical & financial viability

- Statutory / regulatory / linkage requirements in power sector

- Risk analysis & mitigation

- Power sector analysis

- Financial modeling-sensitivity analysis

- Optimum project cost

- Implementation schedule

- Site visit

- Framing of terms & conditions of debt sanction

- Prepare agenda note for approval of competent authority

- Post sanction work with legal/Finance team in loan execution and disbursement

- Act as nodal point of PFS with the borrower and Co-lenders

- Monitor the project progress

- Attend Consortium meetings

- Contribute in policy framing of debt assistance

Skills and Attributes :

- Understanding of technical and commercial aspects of power sector/other infra sector

- Power sector regulatory knowledge is essential.

- Knowledge of prudential norms in financial sector is desirable

- Understanding of critical financial issues in appraisal/due diligence/structuring of a product.

- Knowledge of finance viz, analysis of balance sheets, P&L accounts, cash flows, financial ratios, working capital, discounting techniques - IRR, NPVs, financial modeling

- Knowledge in regulatory aspects and working experience in other infra sector like port, road etc would be added advantage

Experience : Candidate should have experience in appraisal of projects in preferably Power Sector in banks/FIs/Financial Services Companies/ Consultancy firms etc. Depending on number of years of experience (between 7 to 15 years) and knowledge, candidates will be positioned in the level of Manager/AVP/VP.

Age : Between 28 - 40 years
