Knowledge Services  Key departments / areas of responsibility : Analytics  Job Dimensions :  Financial :   The role has no financial responsibilities.  Non Financial :  - This role has no direct reports and will work under a Deputy Manager / Manager  Overall Job Purpose :  - Work on projects in the areas of - Customer Analytics, Distribution Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Operations Analytics and HR Analytics - for UK, Asia and US geographies  - Support Sr. Specialists and Managers in providing analytic consulting - Provide assistance in developing and scaling up the practice by participating in client development activities, new content / POCs / solutions generation, conducting domain / technical trainings etc.  - Should have hands on experience in analytics delivery, through the entire life cycle of an analytics engagement - independent project delivery capability.  - Clarity in communication.  - Should be open to travel to client locations in India / abroad for short / long duration depending on the project requirements  Accountabilities/Responsibilities :   - Automation & Data Visualization: Develop/improve processes by removing manual intervention and automation  - Understand the entire process flow and identifying the right approach to optimize  - Build links between multiple data sources and incorporate it as per business requirements  - Translate complex business rules into a set of algorithms and implement it into the process  - Develop tools to perform customised metric calculation and data analysis as per business requirements by manipulating large data sets  - Skilled in developing solutions by integrating multiple platforms/applications  - Develop dashboards using advanced visualization tools and techniques as per the business requirements  - In-depth analysis and insights generation on multiple projects.  - Train and coach consultants on basic statistical and analytical procedures  - Keep abreast of new and current analytics tools and techniques  - Automation & Data Visualization: Develop/improve processes by removing manual intervention and automation  - Proficient in analytical tools such as SAS, R, SPSS or other statistical softwares  - Excellent written and verbal communication  - Superior analytical and problem solving skills  - Attention to detail and passion for accuracy  Key Interfaces (please detail purpose and level of contact) :   Internal :  - Analytics leadership, KS leadership  - Local Business Unit leaders for UK, US and Asian geographies  External :   - None  Competence / Knowledge / Skills required  Required :  - Experience in developing automated tools using applications such as Excel, VBA, SQL, R, Python  - Expertise in visualization applications like Qlikview, Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, R Shiny, D3js etc.  - Expertise in few of the statistical platforms such as SPSS / SAS / R / SQL / SPSS - Clementine  - Advanced skill in MS-Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  - Visual Basic for Applications for MS Office  - Ability to summarise and effectively present complex analytical insights, observations and recommendations to an audience using business language  - Excellent oral and written communication skills  - Ability to work alone or with limited supervision   - Responsibility and Attention to Detail - Take responsibility for delivery of precise and accurate analyses, models, dashboards and reports to tight timescales and work to resolve problems when they occur  - Proactive attitude towards continuous learning and self development  Good to have :   - Exposure to Operations Research techniques (optimization, simulation and heuristics)  - Knowledge of marketing domain; campaign development, delivery and analysis; customer targeting techniques   - Exposure to insurance domain and financial services industry  - Knowledge of significant regulatory processes, specifically including data protection   - International work experience
