Job Title : Analyst - HCM Service Desk  Reports to : Deputy Manager - HCM Consulting & Service Delivery   Scope of Role :   Business Area : Knowledge Services  Key departments / areas of responsibility : Consulting  Job Dimensions : HR Service Desk Support - Consulting  Overall Job Purpose :   - The HCM Service Desk analyst is a versatile team member who has implementation experience with vendor's (preferably Cornerstone OnDemand) Talent functionality and user interfaces (especially Succession Planning).  - Generally has at least 3 years of practical experience of the Talent user interface and functionality.  Accountabilities/Responsibilities :   - Will be an integral part of the HCM Service desk providing support across the Prudential Group on core HCM ERP platforms  - Will be responsible for the administration and configuration of the system, and will be involved with the project team in integration of content from disparate source of core HRIS systems  - Providing application configuration and maintenance on HCM ERP platforms (such as Workday, Cornerstone OnDemand) by becoming an expert on the use of all aspects of these systems  - Design and implement application security models - roles and permissions  - Providing first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues  - Properly escalating unresolved queries to the next level of support  - Tracking, routing and redirecting problems to correct teams  - Delivering support to existing business users and investigating and resolving application errors, data discrepancies and queries  - Will function as a liaison between business users, functional subject matter experts, and technical developers  - Production support and troubleshooting  - Root cause analysis of support issues  - Functional documentation for multiple levels of the organization  - Writing design specifications that include 'object level' change definition  - System and regression testing which will include writing test plans and scripts for the newly released HCM platform patches  - Facilitating user acceptance testing  Key Interfaces :  Internal :   - KS Leadership team  - Key stakeholders across the Prudential group  External : Third party Suppliers /Consultants  Competence / Knowledge / Skills required :   Qualification, Experience & Skills :  - Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in an IT service desk support role (preferably application management)  - Experience in incident, problem, change management  - Experience in HRMS / HRIS platforms such as Workday, Cornerstone On Demand  - Ad Hoc Reporting and Query development/Optimization  - Complete SDLC experience in Software Implementation  - Experience in building test scenarios and perform project UAT  - Experience in administering and configuring HRMS modules as part of the implementation  - ITIL Qualified preferred  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills  - Excellent customer facing/customer service skills  - Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines  - Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility including shift and out of hours working  - Excellent organisational skills  - Able to manage sensitive and confidential information  - Self-motivated and able to take responsibility  - Able to manage and prioritise and tasks and time efficiently  Attitude / Characteristics :   - Customer focused  - Work in a structured and logical way with a high degree of accuracy  - Works easily with different personality traits  - Willingness to stretch  - Proactive and positive  - Team player  Key skills required :  - Min 2 yrs of relevant exp  - Worked on HRIS tools as an administrator ( backend tool support )  - Any ERP platform( HCM ) in order of priority  - Cornerstone ( any of the HR module exp )  - Worked on Succession module on any of the ERP tools ( like Workday, Peoplesoft)  - Administrator exp on any of the above ERP platforms   - Product implementation, Support / Maintenance projects on ERP ( HCM )
