Assistant Manager - IT Consulting (Oracle EBS)

We have a challenging opportunity opened up for the role of Assistant Manager in our IT Consulting (Oracle EBS) practice. The Assistant Manager role is mission critical and requires multi-dimensional capabilities. Assistant Managers identify business opportunities within their immediate client's business or across an industry. They are responsible for growing existing accounts and attracting new business.

Assistant Managers develop a deep understanding of client's business and build lasting relationships with client personnel. They demonstrate technical competence in their product group and industry, understand client's perspective and become the de-facto - go-to-person. They are responsible for serving clients and ensuring outstanding quality execution of projects.

Assistant Managers develop contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market. Basis their credibility, they are able to attract and retain the best of talent. They have a multi-dimensional role encompassing client delivery, solution and business development and practice enablement.

We are seeking Oracle EBS Consultant experienced in business process mapping, functional consulting and in managing implementation of Oracle EBS (ERP). The candidate should have managed at least 3 full cycle implementation including at least 5 system implementation projects in the capacity of a Business Analyst.

Role Requirements :

- Significant business process knowledge in any industry such as energy, telecom, banking and financial

- Ability to develop business process documentation

- Ability to define Oracle EBS system requirements from the perspective of a business user

- Develop RFP and conduct evaluation of software solutions using structured methodologies

- Knowledge on system implementation methodology and approaches

- Awareness on various other ERP software solutions

- Skilled in Project Management tools such as MPP, Primavera, etc.

- Has experience in performing quality assurance role during system implementation

- Excellent interpersonal and client management skills

- Self-motivated and a logical thinker

- Ability to lead, develop and motivate team members

- Capable of contributing articles in leading magazines / online journals in areas of interest

- Flair for identifying new business opportunities with guidance from senior management.

The candidate will be reporting to the Head of Technology Risk Services.

Desired Profile :

- Experience in one of the following areas is required: PMP / Prince 2 certified

- Domain knowledge in industry (Energy, telecom, banking, investment management)

- Significant knowledge and experience in Oracle EBS implementation

- Minimum 4 years experience. Not more than 10 years of total experience in functional consulting and project management role.

- CA / CPA / ACCA preferred or MBA's or Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Technology

- Proficiency in using project management software such as MS Project or Primavera

- Flexibility to travel and work in other locations within Middle East is essential.
