Prospus - Vice President - Sales & Marketing (12-20 yrs)

Position Description :

- The VP for Sales and Marketing will bring leadership and coordination for the company's sales and marketing functions, develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, and monitor and analyze sales and marketing activities against goals.

- The VP for Sales and Marketing will be responsible for maximizing sales revenue from growing market footprint by developing new business in chosen markets.

Experience Requirements :

- The ideal candidate is one who has built and led sales teams in the web-marketing and technology solutions space, has a strong track record closing revenue in software markets and in supporting/mentoring the direct reports who are part of the sales team.

- The ideal person for this role needs to be an expert at positioning business value, selling technology solutions to enterprises, creating a strong sales pipeline, managing accounts with complex sales cycles and building relationships with key stakeholders in small-to-mid-sized and large corporations.

Principal Account abilities :

- General Requirements

- Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions in-line with the company's strategic goals

- Develop and implement sales cycle and methodology

- Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services

- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and outcomes

- Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets

- Plan and coordinate PR and communications efforts to include public relations and community outreach

- Individual contribution to Revenue

- Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts

- Participate in the development of new project proposals

- Represent the company at various community and / or business meetings to promote the company

- Supervise the preparation, issuance and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs

- Establish and nurture positive relations with partners, clients and prospects

- Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop short and long-term business plans for the company

- Generate sales forecast report(s).

- Provide timely feedback to senior management

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Sales and Marketing leadership :

- Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing and new project development

- Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials

- Oversee the development of sales and marketing plans within the company's budget

- Demonstrate strong knowledge in structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations

- Identify and collaborate with team on sales and marketing collateral, conference participation and online engagement

- Update and manage weekly sales calls and pipeline

- Meet and exceed sales targets

Administrative Oversight :

- Assist administration department in all aspects of budgeting, controlling, accounting and finance for all sales and marketing related activities

HR Oversight :

- Lead and direct HR as required in the recruitment, training, supervision and evaluation of sales and marketing staff

General Skill Requirements :

- 12 - 18 years of relevant experience with proven track record of generating Revenue

- Proven expertise in building and managing sales team(s)

- Excellent C-level communication skills

- Proven expertise in mentoring, coaching and training sales team(s)

- Strong written, verbal, presentation and organizational skills

- Willing to travel as needed
