What is this all about-

Prosper is a Digital Investment Platform that aims to provide optimized investment returns for individuals. Designed to make investing a small decision instead of a big one by simplifying and personalizing the investment process. Why above and where are we now-

A business model that has barely sneaked out of brainstorming or i should say rejection sessions between my mentor a VC himself and me. Honestly saying, rejections from all angles localization, customer acceptance, potential competition and even potential political scenarios (years down the line :D we are startup anyways) which a naive founder like me couldn't foresee (spent quality time analysing these models for some of the veterans of the investment industry globally). About Us: We are from premier business schools globally and in India. He has over 20 years of venture capital, management consulting and operating experience. Where as I have more than 10 years of experience in investment management, consulting and technology experience.

What is expected of you-

You'll be our technical co-founder, which means you're responsible for the entire stack until we get the funding to add more focused teammates who can fill your/our gaps. For now, your job starts where mine stops: front/back end dev. (Given will be helping you myself based on your requirement/comfort level)

This product is your baby, so build it the way you think it should be built (because it's illegal to build real babies to your liking). That said, depending on your choices, I'll want to hear why you're not building in PHP or Node, why you'd go with a relational DB instead of NoSQL, why you're not using nginx, or why you selected Angular not react or Bootstrap for your framework.

Where do you fit in the below:

Option 1: You've done this kind of thing before. The only requirements you need are screenshots and a few conversations. You can articulate why something works or doesn't work. When users provide feedback, you don't need a middleman to concoct a solution. You are responsible for solving all of our technical problems.

Option 2: You're entirely capable of managing the full stack, but you might be a bit junior on mobile UX or dev ops because other people around you have handled that before. You have some kind of startup experience. You prefer agile environments and are good at inferring business requirements. You are your own biggest critic and motivator. You're assertive and confident enough to say when you need help and when you f'd up, but you also understand getting outside help will be difficult at this stage. Who does- nt have gaps and what are we for why not apply-

Option 3: You're a talented, multi-faceted developer, but being the Co-Founder of a mobile startup sounds like a challenge. Chances are you can't do this on your own, so you're not the best candidate - But we are not naive and can help in filling gaps. So why not apply-

Option 4: Most of the developers you know are more talented than you. You've never touched some layers of the stack. You might be a candidate for lower-level roles at Prosper down the road, but this specific job isn't worth applying to. Then again, you read all the way... Why not apply you might be more talented than you think :).

Compensation: Serious equity, a decent salary will come with future funding. Additionally, for suitable candidate with genuine need monetary compensation can also be discussed. Team Prosper - A Digital Investment Platform
