About Us:

PropheSee is a funded SaaS based data & analytics start-up working with brands to empower them with actionable data driven insights. Our platform, strategic analysis, data libraries & services allows brands to stay ahead of their competition through a data-driven marketing approach. Be it social media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram etc.), digital coverage, sales related metrics (e-commerce, Google Analytics etc.), e-mail marketing such as MailChimp, we enable brands to connect the various dots across digital.

We are looking for a smart, aggressive, enthusiastic and a self-motivated business development mogul with 3+ years of work experience to join PropheSee as a Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities:

- The BD Manager will be responsible for shaping the sales pipeline with the CEO, building a BD strategy & driving sales & strategic partnerships for PropheSee.

- Effective & strategic outreach - you live to close deals & you don't take no for an answer. You do whatever it takes to get that intro meeting/demo: call, write, follow up - you don't give up.

- Constantly think of new ways to acquire and loop in users

- Write creatively: you will be trying to get the attention of some of the busiest people around. How will you write an email they are definitely going to read-

- Develop product positioning and messaging that sets PropheSee apart in the market

- Market intelligence - be the expert on PropheSee's clients, how & why they buy what they do; be the expert on the competition and the ecosystem as a whole

- Ability to work on projects both collaboratively as a part of a multi-disciplinary team and individually.

Requirements:

- 3+ years in a product marketing/business development role, experience with a tech product is a plus.

- Experience with online B2B software products and services, particularly in digital is a big plus

- Basic understanding of marketing channels, especially digitally oriented ones including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Website Analytics, Ad-Servers, Pinterest, etc

- Extreme attention to detail, organized and proficient with scheduling and prioritizing

- Exceptional interpersonal skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to listen carefully and flexibility to execute within changing priorities

- Superb communication and organizational skills

- Candidates with past experience working in sales/business development roles in the following arenas are strongly encouraged to apply: online B2B firms, SaaS platforms, analytics, digital media.
