Project Manager - Software Engineering - IT

Position: Project Manager-Software Engineering (Leading MNC IT Company)

Role:

- Manage enterprise integration development, quality assurance, planning and implementation of integration solutions for clients by working closely with business unit's technical resources

- Participate in technology, product planning and departmental budget process

- Manage multiple medium-sized product implementation projects including project planning, scheduling and monitoring and tracking

- Manage a medium-sized (15-20 member) team for product development / integration projects

- Build & foster integration competency by leveraging industry best practices and grooming technical capabilities

- Manage development projects

- Ensure quality control for areas within scope of responsibility

- Liaise with other teams and stakeholders

- Work timings for this role are 1 pm to 11 pm as there will be connect with US clients

Requirements:

- Experience in project management, knowledge of release schedules, tight deadlines and competitive demands

- 9-15 yrs of experience in IT into Product Development/ Software Engineering ideally in a Product Company

- Ability to manage 24/7 global support

- Ability to translate business strategy into product development strategy

- Experience in client interaction and good client handling skills

- Good experience in any EAI tool like Software AG's webMethods, TIBCO, IBM WebSphere MQ or other mainstream open source frameworks

- Leadership management, strategic planning, negotiation and influence management skills

- Knowledge of CMMI, Metrics and other quality processes

- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

- Knowledge of the Banking and financial services industry
