Teknowmics is hiring for India (Project Manager)

- Teknowmics (www.Teknowmics.com), is a software product company based in Tokyo, Japan. Its Flagship product called SmartDocs is a cloud-based enterprise content management platform that revolutionizes the way organizations capture, manage and share knowledge across the enterprise leveraging on advanced cloud computing technology and is also available on mobile platforms including iPhone, iPad and Android tablets/phones thus significantly enhancing the productivity of organizations.

- The product is available in nine languages and has sales footprints in several Asian countries like Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines and China etc. To cope with demands of rapid product expansion, a dedicated offshore development has been setup in India at Cochin (Kakkanad), Kerala and we are looking for top class resources to join our team.

Position : Project Manager

Experience : 8 to 10 years.

Qualification : B.Tech, MCA.

Work Location : Cochin (Kakkanad).

Technical Skills required :

- At least 5 years of project management experience with hands on exposure to requirements understanding, tracking, customer issues handling, project escalations, project planning, task management, risk management, reporting, delivery and project closure process.

- Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities.

- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

- Good understanding of software development process.

- Good understanding of software quality process.

- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

- Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work with others at all levels and be effective at working with culturally diverse teams.

- Good to have PMP / PMI Certification.

Job Description :

- Coordinating with stakeholders to identify scope, work with the functional and engineering team and own the execution of the project goals.

- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

- Clearly define tasks by individual teams, timelines, owners and track progress on the goals.

- Understand business needs and work with the engineering and production support teams to successfully execute the scope of the project.

- Manage the day-to-day activities of the project team, including resource availability and allocation.

- Monitor and control execution of project. Report and escalate to management as needed.

- Collaborate with the product management team to map out project delivery.

- Responsible for adhering to timelines and quality of the deliverables.

- Handle implementation and integration issues to ensure timely and effective resolution.

- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
