Title: Project Manager IT Commercial  Department IT Function IT  Reports to - Functionally Group Manager - IT Applications (Commercial)   Educational Qualifications - Essential - B.Tech / B.E degree (preferably PMP or Prince 2 certified)  Experience - Essential - 7 to 10 years   This position is primarily responsible for management of IT application development projects, focus on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders & vendor teams. As assigned, lead or assist in the planning, implementation and introduction of projects for existing and new systems with or without direct reports.   II. Job Description:   Lead planning and/or implementation of IT Applications development projects (both Web and Mobile). If required, he should be able to contribute to the Require Analysis, Technical design and Testing stages of the project with both internal and partner teams  Facilitate the definition of Project Charter, Goals, Tasks, Resource requirements, Cost and overall project plan; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; leverage existing methods or develop new to monitor project or area progress; and provide overall governance   Manage Project budget, scope and resource allocation through both internal and partner resources  Facilitate the definition of Service levels in IT application support contracts. Interact regularly with existing or potential stakeholders to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving the deliveries. Advocate on behalf of stakeholders and represent stakeholder's needs as appropriate to senior management and partners. Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes  Proficient in handling the most complex of technical development concepts, latest software tools & technologies, enhancement projects, strong database concepts and designing techniques. Exposure on multiple programming languages and RDBMS (.NET, Java, SQL, Android etc)   Possess good knowledge of different software systems, Client-server, Web based & SOA architectures (API, Web Services etc) and various compatibility requirements  Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement business/functional requirements  Management & Leadership Skills:  Ability to communicate effectively with Business stakeholders (both Local and Global), Vendors and internal teams  Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner  Ability to manage change and effectively pass on the information down the line to concerned teams for smoother execution  Delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage projects end to end  Effectively lead teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence  Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of team members and suitably make changes if required  Resource management skills and ability to handle complex / sensitive issues  Ensure necessary documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical documentation and other project related documentation are in place  Estimate project budgets, coordinate with finance department for funds and annual planning for purchase of software and hardware required in various projects  Desired but not mandatory:  Exposure on Dealer Management System (DMS) in the Automotive industry  Experience in developing and launching B2C Mobile Apps
