Role :

The company is looking for Project Managers to work from Pune and Hyderabad to help the content team churn out products at rocket speed.

The successful Project Manager will be hands-on, passionate about building a great product, obsessed with scalability and quality improvement, able to manage a fast paced delivery schedule and help drive product strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy under the guidance of product team and content function head.

Products here refer to the educational content based products and require the project manager to work with in-house teams as well as freelancers. Project managers would closely working with team of subject matter experts and execute educational content based projects as per the guidelines.

Goals :

- Build a rock star team of content creators that deliver excellent results at speed

- Create weekly deliverable/daily level updating dashboards

- Develop a channel of proactive communication

- Grasp the product development life cycle and build systems, infrastructure and teams around it

- Understand and maintain the right balance between business necessity and constraints

- Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have shipping projects as the topmost priority

- Deliver content development projects end to end

- Develop guidelines and ensure content is made according to them

- Dashboards to break work into components and track work

- Team hiring/building, Resource management - Handling priorities

Knowledge/Exposure :

- Know at least 1 or 2 subjects really well

- Previous experience of similar projects

- End to end cycle of books/courses publishing

- Has developed market oriented products and tracked usage/traction

- Has exposure to similar boards

- IT/Media sector exposure

Desirable attributes :

- Industry experience of project management in education industry

- Graduation/ Post-Graduation from a reputed institute
