Job Description: Actuarial Project Manager  Work Experience: 8-11 years of actuarial experience in property and casualty/general insurance domain preferred  Grade - 22  Location - Bangalore  As a Project Manager, the responsibilities include management of analytics/actuarial projects, working with business owners across various project teams, business units and corporate functions providing reporting on work in progress and ensuring timely delivery.  Key responsibilities include but are not limited to -  1) Development of project plans and completion of all PMO documents (including Project Intake Document, Statement of work etc.)  2) Translating business requirements from business owners into technical terms and communicating with various teams in the US and Bangalore to achieve alignment on deliverables and timeliness.  3) Manage reporting of the day to day activities based on the scope, budget and schedule constraints.  4) Develop presentations, reports and dashboard to share with senior leadership on progress and key findings.  5) Raise issues and challenges with the management regarding deliverables.  6) Partner with third party vendors/consultants on Proof of concepts related to the use or testing of new data visualization tools and their capabilities ensuring on-time and accurate delivery.  7) Ensure insightful analysis and predictive reporting developed with Qlikview, Tableau etc. beyond standard reporting of past data.  Job Requirements:   1) Formal education in engineering, actuarial science, economics, IT or any other domain with significant exposure to mathematics or statistics. Masters in an analytical field or MBA preferred.  2) Experience in business analytics and technical project management.  3) Strong knowledge and hands on experience with data visualization tools, particularly in Qlikview and Tableau.  4) Must be highly organized, very structured, self motivated and should have willingness to learn.  5) Strong end to end project ownership and project management skills.  6) Demonstrate intellectual curiosity.  7) Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  8) Experience in a corporate analytical Project Management role, especially with hands on experience with data visualization tools.  9) Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.  10) Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in oral and written English is a must.  11) Must be able to work with little direct supervision and be reliable and dependable.
