Client Background: Developer/Owner

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Hotel development projects. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, clients, suppliers and subcontractors

- Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods

- Appoint and manage a team of sub consultants, contractors and specialist contractors.Select, contract, and oversee workers who complete the project

- Work with existing management and associates to ensure efficient and professional management of projects.

- Lead and direct technical and administrative project team. Liaise with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems

- Ensure projects are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and standards as well as according to approved budget and schedule

- Manage changes to scope, cost and schedule of project work.

- Resource Management -Procure supplies and materials to complete construction projects

- Develop and ensure Quality and Safety Programs

- Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports

Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

- Must have a minimum qualification B.Sc, B.Eng, B.Sc or equivalent from top tier

- University and have Chartered status .More than 20 years experience with 10 being similar to this project/role. Middle East experience an advantage.

- Field of Study : Architecture , Building, Project Management/or Construction Management

- Years of Experience Required : 20-25 years, largely involved in Hotel/Hospitality projects. Has been responsible for project value of not less than 500M USD

- Skills : Microsoft Office, Project Management Software, Planning and P.E.

- Strong safety background.

- Strong knowledge of CSI specifications, American & British codes & standards.

- Strong management, negotiation and communication skills.

- Site supervision & consulting experience.

- Strong knowledge of FIDIC and contract documentations.

- Has managed large teams (200-500)

- Proven track record in Hotel construction projects

- Strong knowledge of cost management & construction coordination knowledge.

- Language Proficiency : Fluency in English Language. Arabic an advantage.
