Role & Responsibilities

Responsible for research and analytics for ICT (IT & Telecom) sector

To produce industry database using secondary research, market estimation and forecasting techniques

To produce in-depth analytical content on telecom sector across fixed, mobile, pay-tv and multiplay; as well as handsets

To review and quality check databases produced by associate analysts

Managing the collection of quantitative and qualitative data

Meeting regular quality and deadline criteria

Core skills required:

Comprehensive understanding of the Telecom/ICT industry

Minimum 5-7 years experience in secondary research and creating industry databases

Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Manage ad-hoc requests/consulting projects

Should be able to handle large volume of data, and write in-depth reports on the sector

Candidates with experience in data modeling, market sizing and forecasting will be preferred (will be an added advantage)

Ability to analyze issues related to industry and study its impact on the business

Exposure & willingness for primary research

Good attention to detail

Should have MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & MS Word Knowledge
