- New Capabilities and Services are delivered by Programs and Projects, using the Innovation Funnel Process. Program / Project teams may reside within Functions, Services or within a specific Geography to deliver these Capabilities or Services.

- Within the Organisation, many Projects require the use of external partners to deliver, requiring the ability to work in a diverse environment spanning regions, cultures & teams.

- A Program is a group of related projects managed in a coordinated way to obtain benefits and control, which is not available from managing them individually.

- Programs generally span multiple technologies, processes and countries.

- The Program manager is key delivery engine in this environment; Plans, directs, and co-ordinates activities to manage and implement a set of Program milestones and deliverables from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage.

- This includes the full change management and service introduction process associated with the Program.

- This role is specific to Infrastructure design and build within a Hybrid model of both On-premise and Off-premise hosting. The role requires a depth of knowledge and experience across the X86 Compute and Storage environments and although not essential an understanding of SAP and Unix would also be an advantage.

- Experience and knowledge of delivering IaaS and PaaS Programs via an off premise Cloud hosting provider, also an advantage.

Professional Qualifications :

- Participation in project management training (both LMS accredited courses, and GPMO courses)

- Project Management Institute: Project Management Professional of Program Management Professional

Experience :

- Successful track record of leading multiple Projects and Programs, in excess of - 1m

- Successful track record of leading a Program team in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment

- Successful track record of building relationships across the Program / Project and Business environment in which the Program / Project is delivering

- Demonstrated knowledge of Program Management Processes.

- Demonstrated knowledge of process design techniques.

- Demonstrated ability to follow quality assurance processes

- Demonstrated ability to use Program / Project Management toolset (Clarity, and MS Office Suite)

- Demonstrated ability to use collaboration tools (Audio Conferencing, Video Conferencing, Live Meeting, Share-point)
