Summary:

Program Manager will be responsible for launching company’s operations in India, and will lead new product introduction efforts. This is an Operations program management leadership role, in which you will lead a cross-functional team to drive the highest level of program management quality for company’s new product launches.

This is an experienced, detail-oriented role. You will plan the launch strategy with global teams around the world to ensure a timely launch across all of company’s routes-to-market. You will also be familiar with the compliance and regulatory requirements for bringing products into the market.
Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it’s your job to keep all the senior management and working teams coordinated on the project’s progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the launch of products in India

- Drive the overall NPI launch plan for operations across all RTM (Online, Telco)

- Work closely with web engineering, marketing, logistics, after-sales, field testing, customer support, PR, finance, and other operational teams to quickly launch products

- Transform highly complex business strategies into structured and tactical project plans. At the same time, drive the end-to-end execution of operation activities

- Balance program risk management vs. benefits under tight timelines to make critical business decisions

- Manage the legal and regulatory requirements for bringing products into the country

- Act as NPI launch control tower for managing communication and dissemination of information across functional teams. You are responsible for managing communication to the senior management team on the strategy and health status of the Launch

- Provide world-class leadership to cross-functional teams to deliver flawless execution of highly complex product launches according to company's key success factors

- Review past launch NPI planning and execution results to identify wins/learnings for business process improvements and influence internal change management

Qualifications:

- 5-8 years relevant experience in operations and/or program management, preferably in consumer electronics or mobile industry

- PMP certified a big plus

- Native English and Hindi speaker. Chinese is plus

- Excellent organizational skills and program/project management capabilities – Able to manage project plans, timelines and risks effectively.

- Basic supply chain experience.

- Structured/Analytical Thinker – can simplify complex problems and issues in an easy to understand manner.

- Ability to think “outside the box” and solve problems on the fly.

- Outstanding EQ and stakeholder management skills. This is important as the successful candidate will be required to work with cross-functional teams of all levels and it is important to have good EQ to influence effectively without authority

- Effective leader who can operate in a MNC / matrix organization

- Ability to make key decisions and deliver results under extremely tight and high-pressure timelines in a highly ambiguous environment

- Very detail-oriented: good eye for details with a “hands-on” and “can do” attitude

- Strong business process re-engineering skills

- Entrepreneurial spirit, not a "corporate person" and very outgoing, likeable, presentable, humble and naturally capable of easily interacting with others

Location:

- Permanent: Bangalore, India

- Will need to travel to Beijing frequently to interact with local teams there
