A Leading Foreign Investment Bank is looking for a talented sourcing professional to fill the position of Sourcing Manager - Professional Services.
- Candidates should have a strong background in Professional Services Sourcing as well as a firm understanding of the Indian contingent labor and technology outsourcing landscape.
Role and Responsibilities to include:
- Manage and optimize professional services spend with external suppliers, generating procurement added value via delivery of cost savings and cost-avoidances for the Firm.
- Manage robust supplier selection processes using market analysis, RFP’s, RFI’s, RFQ’s and e-auctions.
- Provide support for sourcing activities such as renewals, benchmarking, vendor due diligence and risk, and maintaining vendor/client relationships.
- Ensure adequate business controls are in place surrounding sourcing, contracts, spending and supplier management.
- Build relationships and drive customer satisfaction for the group’s internal clients through supplier selection and engagement.
- Prepare supporting documentation for deals and contracts and ensuring that they’re readily available via firm’s contract management system
- Represent India for assigned categories in any global initiatives that may impact the region and ensure that any APAC requirements/considerations are incorporated into the global view.
- Work with Regional and Global teams to drive best practices and transformation activities to ensure continuous improvement.
Competencies/Skills:
- Negotiation - ability to conduct fact based negotiation with Suppliers at senior levels
- Analytics - perform competitive bid analysis and analyze cost/financial information.
- Problem - Solving- ability to understand objectives, identify obstacles, mitigate risk and develop and implement recommendations for alternative solutions.
- Business maturity - ability to drive sound decision making, prepare and present business presentations, and summarize status to senior/executive leaders
- Communication skills- excellent verbal, written, presentation skills in English
- Industry acumen - knowledge and experience in professional services procurement, ability to engage with IT stakeholders and vendors regarding services, pricing and performance optimization
- Ability to liaise with Compliance, Legal, Finance and Tax on structuring of deals
- Advanced PC Skills: Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
