Production Manager - Industrial (6-10 yrs)
To continuously improve all aspects of production for the Company, including responsibility for production planning, allocation of resources and product quality.
Reporting to : Managing Director
Key Performance Indicators
- Complete products on time to suit customer orders and stock levels and continuously improve on time taken from receipt of order to dispatch to customers
- Develop, with the assistance of the finance department, accurate costs for products and services and improve/reduce production costs over time
- Ensure all records are correct and up to date, eliminate unnecessary paperwork and increase use of IT in production
- Continuously improve product quality using measures related to meeting customer needs and continuously working with production teams to improve production systems
- Ensure production is effectively planned, including setting material stock levels and allocating staff according to changing priorities
- Monitor production and revise according to changing priorities
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in production management role
- Team leadership skills, including creating environment for good team working
- Able to map work processes, and devise measures for performance in collaboration with staff
- Able to set up and maintain records for production performance
