Product Marketing Manager - IP/Net

Top tier MBA with technical background preferred.
No sales ,only marketing preferred

Business Leadership Support-

- Ensures the continued and long term growth and success of the business while striving to meet shorter term business objectives

- Develops the annual marketing plan and the tactics and resources necessary to achieve business goals for IP CCTV Product Category

- Monitors working capital strategies, including inventory and payment terms. Manages operations planning processes to balance sales objectives with material planning.

Strategic Marketing-

- Drives ADI India strategy & business analysis for IP CCTV Product Category: Develops the business development plan, communicates the plan to the team, and manages the successful implementation of this plan across India

- Prepares presentations to explain the current and future strategies & activities of the Product Category

- Defines and segments channel customers (dealer, SI, installer). Creates mechanisms to capture true voice of customer and then translate it into customer segment specific marketing and sales strategy

Manage Relationships with Vendors to ensure the right pricing and products for the portfolio-

- Drive strong Vendor relationships to get pricing advantage, product availability and support

- Discuss and initiate Vendor funded Product schemes to promote specific SKU's regularly

- Coordinate with Vendors for Seminars, Events, Expos etc

Product Portfolio Management-

- Ensuring correct Pricing and Positioning of the products

- Manage Gross Margins for the Line of Business

- Derive solutions from the product portfolio to support different market segments

- Regular Voice of Sales and Voice of Customer survey to understand the Product Gaps

- Identify new products/vendors to plug gaps and introduce new product lines for growth

- Manage Product launches, Product information and updates regularly

- Provide Support to Sales team to drive revenues

- Drive Product knowledge and competence to internal and external team, Sales support for the same

- Plan and drive Marketing events like Seminars, Branch Events etc

Inventory Management-

- Ensure proper material availability to achieve revenue targets

- Help Supply Chain Team in streamlining Product codes, Min Max levels, re ordering and forecast ordering

Marketing Communications Management-

- Coordination with Marcom to ensure update of Website, Catalogue

- Coordination with Marcom for leaflets, brochures, events, promotional schemes and EDM

Competition Mapping-

- Develop strong Market network to gather market intelligence and update competition activities

- Track competition pricing to understand Market Operating prices of products

Team & Individual contribution-

- Works intensively to create a collaborative atmosphere at all levels within the different teams to help grow business

- Works closely with national and regional leadership team to review/ modify strategy

- Interacts with global ADI resources to learn and share best practices.

Candidate’s profile:-

- 5-8 years of Product Management / Marketing experience in a B to B company with IT/ Electronics industry experience.

- Very strong general outbound product marketing skills. Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning and promotions/advertising.

- Very strong strategy development and implementation experience.

- Preferably in the marketing function within a Security/ Safety Products company.

- Ability to work effectively with senior-level executives and manage internal customer relationships. Must be able to work with executives, leaders and staff of affiliated companies.

- Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.

- Strong leadership attributes to inspire and manage virtual teams

- Possess strong Office Automation Prod knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
