Product Manager - SME - NBFC (4-12 yrs)

Our client covers the entire spectrum of financial services such as Stock Broking, Commodities Broking / Finance, Registry Services, Depository services, Merchant Banking & Corporate Finance, IPO distribution, Investment Banking, Realty Services, Insurance Broking/Distribution, and Distribution of Financial products like mutual funds, bonds, Personal Finance Advisory Services, BPO / Technology Services, Wealth Management and Loans.
Role:
- Responsible for SME banking product & business development and management, including the development of both strategic and tactical plans, execution of these plans and ongoing day-to-day management.
- Manage the design, features and benefits of products, carry out pricing analysis, determine and support distribution channels, design, develop and implement promotional plans for the products.
- Carry out market research to understand customer needs, design products with features that satisfy those needs and to forecast demand.
- Manage new product development initiatives, business case development and implementation.
- Work closely with external partnerships, to develop and recommend product enhancements including, operational efficiencies, strategy opportunities, new sales tools, etc.
- Prepare forecasts on volume of sales, cost and profit margins.
- Prepare detailed product documentation and literature that can be distributed through the SME Direct Team and other channels for sales of the products.
- Design, develop and implement the promotional strategies to support sale of the products through the Branches/other channels.
- Research market activities to ensure that the timely and comprehensive knowledge of target market segments and key customers is reflected in product plans.
- Liaise with partnerships to prepare product knowledge courses to train employees for the sale of products.
- Maintain comprehensive competitive information on market penetration, product capabilities, trends and developments and make appropriate recommendations.
- Work with internal partners to communicate product information/ enhancements through training and communication/marketing programs.
