Position Responsibilities
Role Objective
- Your responsibilities will include understanding the consumer/customer, reading behavior/activity data; capturing habits / trends and basis these help define as well as execute product strategies to meet the requirements of our users, customers and business.
- You will need to handle the entire chain – from product ideation, through wireframes to designs, from specs to final QA - Product Launch to maintenance of a running product.
- Will be designing control processes for other functions, like customer service, editorial ,etc.
- This role will require close coordination and working with internal as well as external stakeholders.
Key Result Areas -
- Product Planning and Development
- Product maintenance
- Handle specific sections/product lines.
- Plan / execute product changes / new developments and also maintain good health of these product lines/sections
- Work closely with the Data Analytics and technical teams to understand users and implement product solutions which help improve engagement of the customers/users with the site
Search Specifications
Education - MBA / PG from one of the Top b-schools (Bachelors with technical specialization preferred)
Experience -
- Total 4-6 years, with exposure to Product Management / Product Marketing
- 2 + yrs into software Development
- 1+ yr in Internet Product Management
Technical Skills -
- Analytically Sharp, Internet savvy, Highly Customer Centric
- Understanding of the Online World, specially UI principles
- Problem Solving and Analytical Skills
- Understanding of software development lifecycle on any language/ platform
Behavioral Competencies
- Good Listening skills,Consumer/customer focus
- Detail oriented, yet never misses the Big picture
- Team player and has the ability to influence stakeholders
