Role

You will focus on understanding the market and market needs, but with an emphasis on understanding the buyer of the company's products and services. You are responsible for developing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and enabling the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure they are aligned and work efficiently to generate and close opportunities. This is a strategic role at the product line level.

Responsibilities

Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market

Work with Marketing team to make sure all assets including website, one-pagers, blogs, etc are aligned with the desired positioning of the product

Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products

Product launch - plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan

Market intelligence - be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them

Demand generation - develop the strategy and manage programs that drive demand for your products

Minimum Qualifications

BS/BTech/BE/MCA in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

7-10 years relevant work experience.

Experience with Product Management for a software product development company for at least 2 release cycles or 2 years

Experience with building Services or Apps in Payment Processing and Merchant Services space

Strong Communication Skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Early-stage products/mid-size product company

MBA from a premier institute is a plus

Previous Experience with Analytics & Customer communication
