We have an opportunity for a Product Manager with one of our client in Bangalore.

Job Description:

- Should have overall 8-14 years experience and must have least 5 years of product management experience in delivering mobile/web application products with at least 2-3 years of experience in Developer Experience and API product Management

- Hands on development/programming experience

- Excellent knowledge and understanding in Restful API Design

- Experience with SaaS/cloud architecture and delivery model

- Ability to work and coordinate with UX/ Design teams

- A motivated, multi-tasked, self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight with a focus on achieving goals and meeting deadlines.

- Impeccable ethics, collaborative and team player, who is very much in tune with the dynamics of his/her surroundings

- Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills

- Excellent communication skills including the ability to translate technical concepts into marketable benefits

- Experience with Agile methodologies

- A bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; MBA is preferred

- Financial Domain exposure is preferred

Responsibilities :

Strategy

- Participate in the release planning and scoping processes that determine the product roadmap

- Articulate the product roadmap to internal stakeholders

- As part of product planning phase, work with the Product team to define and describe use cases that represent the product/feature planned for development

- Work with different stakeholders to influence and provide the right product leadership to achieve business goals.

Product Management

- Create and contribute to the entire product life cycle from concept through planning, design and delivery.

- Author detailed, measurable product requirements, user stories, and develop use case documentation for API platform

- Collect, document, and manage enhancement requests from internal and external sources across various solutions

- Ensure the functionality and API specifications provided by the design teams meets the business need and are consistent and developer friendly.

- Work with Engineering and QA teams to provide the required support ensuring timely delivery in good quality

- Hands-on functional testing and validation of business requirements and system functionality

- Maintain updated product documentation as changes are made along the development cycle

- Report the status of projects and assignments including the risks and mitigation plans to the senior management regularly and in a timely manner

- Ensure that all required KPIs are calculated and kept updated

- Collaborate with other product areas to ensure API deliverables are with defined standards and coincide with the end to end business timelines

- Collaborate with the Technical Publications and developer experience team to ensure the delivery of all documents in good quality and on time

Developer Experience

- Defining the experience from our initial Developer Registration and Contracting, through to our Developer Portal with API Documentation and concluding with the Developer production deployment process.

- Establishing an API ecosystem with the most elegant tools necessary to ensure a Developers success

Marketing

- Prepare product collateral, presentations, datasheets, whitepapers and FAQs

- Preparation of product demonstrations

- Do competitive research
