Product Manager - Mobile Applications - EduTech (3-6 yrs)

As the Product Manager - Mobile Applications, you will lead all the mobile initiatives of the company and responsible for the successful adoption of the company's mobile products among learners.

Our client is a growing Edu-Tech corporate that offers diversified and integrated technology-enabled education products, services, content and infrastructure. Led by a team of highly qualified professionals including IIT-IIM alumni, with a passion for excellence in education, the firm is focused on shaping the lives and careers of many students.The firm has a diversified and integrated technology-enabled approach to education and has established itself as a recognized brand in the education sector. They operate across a broad spectrum of segments in the education industry, including Test preparation and training services, Publishing and content development, Vocational training programs implemented under Government schemes in various states across India and also run a K-12 school chain. The company is a publicly listed entity headquartered in Delhi.

The key responsibilities will include:

- Build and influence the mobile products strategy considering user preferences, device functionality, marketplace insights, design and innovation.

- Push to understand customer needs and external market trends. Utilize this intel to influence product vision and the way we approach the student learning experience on mobile.

- Benchmark against global standards and identify the product gaps

- Measure student engagement with various elements of the product and suggest improvements

- Plan initiatives to increase the student engagement on the mobile apps and increase the average time spent per user on the apps

- Identify unmet needs and disruption opportunities which will ultimately shape the mobile strategy.

- Research the mobile landscape, and translate trends into actionable product features.

- Oversee marketing plan for acquiring and retaining subscribers through focused, data-driven, and ROI based mobile user acquisition and retention strategies.

- Increase the user feedback rating on mobile marketplaces like playstore etc

Candidate Profile:

- Excellent business and technical judgement

- Knowledge of native mobile/tablet apps across various operating systems, mobile web UI design principles and mCommerce

- Knowledge of best practices in engaging and communicating with consumers through mobile devices

- Knowledge of analytics platforms and ability to pull reports and analyze data

- Understands technological opportunities for Mobile & Tablet

- Proven ability to understand customers and competitive markets, and translate their needs into business strategies and initiatives

- Strong conceptual and creative problem-solving skills

Experience: 3 to 6 years

Annual CTC: Rupees 15,00,000 to 25,00,000
