Job Role : Product Manager - Credit Cards

Reports to : Head Products

Direct Reports : 1

Band : 5 (AVP)

CTC & grade will vary as per candidature & fitment

Location : Mumbai

JOB PURPOSE

A Product managers role in the Core product team of Credit Cards will give you the following:

- End to end management of an exciting and dynamic product

- Be able to directly impact the PNL via strategy based initiatives and understand levers of Cards business

- Be a part of market first launch initiatives

- Wholesome learning opportunity of consumer behaviour, digital and technological aspect of credit cards

- Managing strategic partners and co branded cards

- Stakeholder engagement and relationship building with the other teams of the

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Financial: Accountable for meeting annual business targets and sales volumes in coordination with the Sales Team

- New Product Development: Conceptualize, propose, develop and launch new product variants. Drive these projects for timely execution. Co-ordinate with various divisions to ensure all aspects of the product development including systems, processes and procedures, audit compliance and legal approvals are in place.

- Product Management: Monitor credit cards asset product movements, maintenance and upgrading for product features, adding new features to existing products based on market requirement and competition

- Review product parameters, policies and suggest changes to keep the bank’s card portfolio competitive and inline with changing market characteristics

- Ensure adequate product visibility through media planning, both outdoors and branches. Enhance product value through campaigns and promotions. Conceptualize, propose and manage the execution of short term campaigns and promotions to increase customer base, business numbers and add to the product value proposition.

- Conduct competition benchmarking for credit cards to ensure competitiveness of the bank’s product and services.

- Interface closely with the service units and support them to ensure effective handling and resolution of customer issues pertaining to portfolio offerings.

- Ensure adherence of self and team to KYC and AML norms and standards

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- MBA from a premium B school with 8--10 years of experience from the credit cards

- Strong inter-personal and leadership skills

- Strong Process Orientation

- Analytical Aptitude
