Product Manager - Communities - eCommerce (5-10 yrs)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities will include understanding requirements, helping to define a community vision and strategy, design flair, be innovative and full of new ideas
- Develop information architecture, wireframes, and content strategy
- Engage closely with the Engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods and reasonable execution schedules.
- Assume ownership of products including defining scope and developing requirements for new and advanced products as well as upgrades and progressive releases for existing products.
- Identify and analyse issues, patterns and trends in customer requests & product performance
- Developing strategies to increase engagement and interaction
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional environments including sales, marketing, business management, customer support and engineering teams.
- Prior experience in tracking traffic trends & metrics using Google Analytics, Comscore, and usability testing is a plus.
- Regularly feedback insights gained from community monitoring into the Marketing and Editorial teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
- Monitor trends in online community tools, trends and applications
Must Have Experience/Criteria For The Role:
- Proven track record of customer obsession.
- Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically.
- 5+ years of product management
- Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication (spoken and written) and influencing skills and an ability to navigate a complex and unstructured cross-functional environment.
BA/BS degree.
