Product Management Specialist - Treasury Software Product - IT

The incumbent needs to perform essentially a leading functional role defining detailed process flows, creating EPICs, writing functional specifications/user stories and requirements documentation across a range of domain functional areas of Retail Banking.

The person in this role will be expected to have Deep domain knowledge in the areas of capital market instruments or Derivative Products. Practical understanding of FtB life cycle of trade, pricing and analytics of the derivative instruments, Risk Analysis (implication to Basel, banking book/trading book). Domain Expertise in at least one instrument from trade capture to maturity- including confirmation, accounting, PnL, Risk Analysis, Payments and Settlement.

- Assist in product roadmap analysis, product design and estimations

- Create User stories/ functional specifications and acceptance criteria.

- Work closely with the Development and QA teams to deliver functions and features - based on the product roadmap and market needs

- Deliver functional and solution documentation to support product development activities

- Perform fit for business testing of the end product

- Business Architecture and Functional Design - propose business architecture and functional designs that meet the stated business requirements

- Competition bench marking and support sales/ presales activities.

The candidate Must Have :

- Understanding and experience of Product Development Life Cycle, Business Requirement Specification documentation and experience of working in an Agile environment.

- Proven Business analysis skills and Product Management experience as a BA for at least one Treasury Solution.

- 6 - 10 years of relevant experience working in investment banking FTB operations.

- Should have worked in a banking/ financial institution or with a treasury solution.

- Experience facing the customer in presales situations solution demos and Proof of Concept, support presales activities.

- Candidate should be self-starter, target oriented and able to meet set timelines.

- Excellent oral and written communication, analytical thinking and good interpersonal skills.

- Self-starter take ownership of more than one product roadmap items. Ability to work in a team environment.
