About our Client : Our client is a strong player in the media network industry, alongside an extensive pan India presence and an ever-increasing media property footprint. They are well-funded and poised to be the Industry leaders in the space with an already dominant position, and need a strong Product Head to fuel and sustain that growth for the business.

Job Description : Reporting directly to the Business Head - Digital, the incumbent will be responsible for:

- Understand and analyze user needs and conduct research on markets and competitors.

- Establish short and long-term product goals and strategies.

- Build and manage a product roadmap to support our goals and strategies.

- Will be responsible for developing new products and strategies, identifying market trends and competitive product performance, undertaking detailed customer analytics - with the objective of enhancing revenue and client reach.

- Create a differentiated value proposition in the online space, increasing the market share amidst stiff competition, building highly effective channels.

- To develop Web & Mobile applications in tune with the overall long term product vision and strategy of the company

- To carry out targeted marketing campaigns with marketing teams based on customer segmentation and product launches and track the program effectiveness

- To liaise with product management, Technology, Legal, Compliance teams on its delivery, implementation methods and reasonable execution schedules.

- Team management

The Successful Candidate:

- 12-15 years of overall experience with at least 6-8 years of dedicated Product experience. The person must have sound understanding of Computer Science and Applications as a domain and Media, Travel, Lifestyle and/or On-line News experience is a plus.

- The incumbent will be expected to manage internal stakeholders like Head Editorial, Heads of functions and employees of the organization. There would also be external stakeholder management by means of working closely with the Vendors, ISP and Business & Commercials.

- Product management experience in an environment that has changing and evolving product across digital channels is a must.
