Experience: Challenge conventional wisdom, think out of paradigms and should be a born creative maverick! MBA would also be an added advantage.

Has between 5-9 years of Experience in the Logistics / Supply Chain Management sector.

With a background in Express Logistics.

Should have experience, possess knowledge or have orientation with the following

- Creating policies or procedures in Logistics management & activities.

- Plan, implement material flow management

- Create optimal transportation modes. Routing and Pricing metrics.

- Oriented with transportation network, vendors and other players

- Establish or monitor specific supply chain performance measurement systems.

- Creating business strategies and effectively implementing communication systems across all channels.

- Resolving problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports

- Orientation to compliance and regulatory requirements.

- Ensuring achievement of costs, productivity, accuracy or timeliness objectives.

- Design models for evaluating logistics progammes or services

- Has flair in implementing technology systems in logistics management.

- Develop Risk management programs

- Has collaborated with other departments - Sales, operations, customer care, accounting to achieve objectives.

- Has analysed financial impact of proposed logistics changes such as routing, shipping modes etc.

- Orientation to inbound / outbound logistics and warehouse management.

- Acclimatised to corporate Logistics

- Oriented to reverse logistics - Acquisition, distribution, allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse or final disposal of resources

- Fair knowledge of Transportation management systems, electronic Freight information systems.

- Develop plans to set goals to reduce carbon emissions associated with storage or transportation activities.
