Product Engineering Head/Product Head - BFSI Domain - KPO Firm

Role - Product Engineering Head (PEG) / Product Head

Location - Mumbai

- Significant exposure to New Product Development (NPD) and Outsourced Product Development (OPD). Responsible for the Products division.

- Design short, medium and long term product plan

- Track monthly deliverables and progress vis a vis target of the Product Development Team

- Responsible to manage simultaneous development of different versions of the S/ W product Should be conversant with release engineering, build and multi - releases

- Define policies and institutionalize processes for the product engineering division.

- Monitoring and oversight of engineering deliverables - Design and architectural reviews, project and program management, budgeting and cost management.

- Liaise with the Product Management and Sales functions for product definition and development of product roadmaps.

- Strong strategic planning and tactical execution skills combined with excellent customer engagement skills.

- Managed diverse customer engagements across multiple geographies - UK, EMEA, UAE and India.

- Ability to handle large distributed teams spread across multiple geographies and build high performance teams.

- Focused on quantitative portfolio and program management.

- Proficient in developing and institutionalizing processes across an organization.

- Expertise in managing partners & vendor relationships.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Desired Experience - Relevant experience into Product Management / Product Design / Product Architecture & Solutioning. The person should have led teams and had experience of product release and the product itself generating revenues. In essence it's a techno managerial/functional requirement.

- Specific skills - Microsoft Technologies is a must (.NET stack of technologies) along with hands on Technical Architecture skills. The person would have worked on the User Interface side of products.

- Market Knowledge (GOOD to HAVE) - Capital Market, Equities, Mutual Fund, Debt, Derivatives, BFSI market segment

- Domain Knowledge (GOOD to HAVE) - Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Wealth Management System (WMS), Asset Management, General Accounting, Fund Accounting, Lending, Custody, Trading, etc.

- End to End project Management and implementation of product related projects.

Job Specification:

- Minimum of 5+ years work experience on building products, applications and specific experience with building products using Microsoft related technologies. Experience with subscription service, and mobile experience, highly desirable.

- Good understanding of Product Development, Product/Project/Program Management, Application Development & Support, Architecture & Solution Design, Service Delivery and Consulting across BFSI domains.

- Manage Product Roadmap and Product Lifecycle, Feature Screenings and prioritization, Release Product Management Milestones

- Should have handled highly technical teams

- Strong analytical and metrics driven approach

- Very good communication and interpersonal skills

Business Understanding:

- Good understanding of Product Development, Product Application Development & Support

- Architecture & Solution Design, Service Delivery and Consulting across BFSI domains
