The company is building a world-class cloud consumer app/VAS product portfolio to drive usage of and monetise LTE in the Indian subcontinent. The Product CTO will report to the Chief Product Officer and will be responsible for all current app/VAS technology and business planning. The individual will improve our cost effectiveness, our service quality, our scalability and reliability and will have a profound influence on the company's overall strategy and business outcomes. The person who assumes this role must have a deep technical background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a track record of operational success.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and execute a technology plan that aligns appropriate product vision, infrastructure, process and organization to our projected business growth

- Provide thought leadership on core technology choices and evaluate vendors to assess fit with our product portfolio

- Own product architecture for all apps/VAS products including integration with Telco OSS/BSS systems

- Identify, manage and optimize our vendor relationships to influence technology direction

- Collaborate with application teams, business product development teams and third parties to provide high availability scalable products.

- Manage infrastructure capacity planning, whether producing bills of materials for hardware or defining and managing cloud capacity require to run our software platforms

- Establishes metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements for driving the performance of app/VAS delivery

- Establish and sustain a customer-focused attitude that is highlighted by a continuous improvement process

Desired Skills and Experience

- Superb intellectual and technical depth, coupled with a communication style that conveys expertise and instills confidence

- Global outlook and the ability to drive toward global scale and work effectively with distributed teams to achieve great outcomes

- Demonstrated experience of large scale technology delivery in Telco environments

- Provide strategic leadership and direction for product technology choices

- Demonstrated ability to attract and develop top talent and scale a team in a fast-changing domain and clear - pull- in relevant talent markets

- Establish high levels of service transparency to internal customers, business leaders and executives.

- Bring strategic thought leadership for multi-year planning, build the teams capability, and develop business cases for investment strategies.

- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate across organizations to optimize outcomes.
