- Candidate should have hands on experience of over 3 years in food-product costing
- Experience in Costing Analysis, and qualified as a COST ACCOUNTANT.
- Knowledge to prepare Trend charts related to costing.
- To prepare MIS and other information related to costing and business plan.
- Good command on Data Management, Data Updation, Data Analysis and Data Integration.
- If knowledge of SAP CO Module, that will be an added advantage.
- Internal Coordination with the different domains i.e R&D, Production, Marketing and Project-management team.
- Good command on Excel & power point.
- Working with supply chain and update price list of raw materials and packing material.
- Maintain accurate plant wise/line wise conversion cost.
- Verification of Cost sheet/Recipe sheet received from NPD (New Product Development Team, with inputs from R&D team), and validate the final costing with Purchase Department and NPD.
- Maintaining updated product wise/line wise yields data to apply properly to new product cost sheet.
- Preparation of accurate costing sheet of new products with latest RM+PM price, plant yields and applying appropriate conversion cost.
- Co-coordinating with plant heads for validation of yields in new product cost sheet.
- Applying suitable margins for the products after consultation with the team, to arrive at optimal product pricing
- Validating the product cost sheet with actual production for 6 months or first three long runs after commercialization.
- Co-coordinating with accounts for validating customer wise product margin
