Job Responsibilities
Our client is hiring for Procurement Manager/ Senior Manager for their CPO (Central Procurement Office)
- Collate and forecast demand from key stakeholders, prepare, implement and monitor category strategy as well its execution performance
- Participate in the development of specifications for services, equipment, products or substitute materials/services.
- Interview and hire staff, and oversee staff training
- Provide and present performance to stakeholders against demand and other internal SLAs mutually signed-off
- Research supply markets to assess present and future availabilities of supplies
- Formulate category, sourcing strategies and present to leadership to obtain approvals
- Locate suppliers of services, materials, equipment or supplies, and assess them to determine product/service availability and terms of sales.
- Create manage preferred supplier lists (PSL)
- Guide preparation and manage execution of RFx, purchase orders and contracts on suppliers.
- Represent the organization in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain records of services, goods sourced and received in line with CPO and other organizational policies.
- Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
- Measure and report supplier, contract performance and manage key supplier relationships
- Drive continuous improvements and automate/standardize as many tasks as possible.
- Research and collate useful knowledge resources at central knowledge repository of CPO and BSS.
- Contribute actively to enable CPO become a world class procurement function in next 1-2 years.
- Write blogs, articles, POVs and promote the CPO in approved internal / external forums.
