Procurement Manager - Marketing Procurement - Classified Industry

Currently we have an urgent opening with one of our reputed client into classified industry.

Location: Gurgaon

As a Procurement Manager you will responsible for Leading, Organizing and Administrating the Procurement process

Job Description:

- Leading, organizing and administrating the Procurement department.

- Preparation of procurement plan aligned to business needs

- Managing budgets and utilization,

- Buying and negotiations for all departments (Marketing, technology, travel etc.)

- Ensure most optimal rates, benchmarked vis a vis industry standards

- Monitoring utilization/ receipt of procured goods and services

- Vendor management - liaising, contracting, empanelment and monitoring performance

- Policies & procedures compliance - document archival and audit trail

- Responsible for streamlining and improving procurement process:

- Budget achievement and forecast accuracy

- Order placement (JIT etc.)

- Supply and demand alignment

- Supplier evaluation and performance improvement

- Promoting procurement policy compliant environment (Vendor selection, contracting, purchase order management etc.)

- Manage procurement system (Coupa)

- Continuously interact with product managers and stakeholders from the organization in order to align and monitor company's procurement plan. Results oriented.

- Special projects:

- Developing sourcing strategies and alliances

- Cost savings opportunities

What will you need to be successful in this role-

- At least 5 - 8 years- of post qualification experience and proven domain competencies in Marketing procurement (experience in dealing with media channels and broadcasters from advertiser perspective)

- Cross regional market knowledge of marketing vendor base

- Strong negotiation skills & business acumen.

- Excellent knowledge of different cost models and pricing methodology

- Undertaking benchmarks with the Supplier(s) to measure the effectiveness / efficiency of the provided services compared to market / best practices.

- At least 2-3 years of experience in other procurement disciplines
