Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with Travel team in Company's Travel services and drive Travel category strategies across all the Geographies
- Leverage the spend with strategic suppliers and deliver annual savings target through negotiations and innovative supply strategies
- Empanel best in class suppliers for this category and help them to grow their business with the Company
- Develop long term global contracts and ensure majority of category spend are through contracts
- Understand the market and tap innovative travel strategies and implement along with Travel team
- Responsible for supply optimization
- Responsible for supplier relationship & quarterly performance management
- Ensure all the strategies and subsequent procurement are done in accordance with the procurement policy
- Conduct RFP's to determine the right supplier and ensure the best overall value is obtained for the company
- Drive spend with diversity suppliers in accordance with procurement policy
- Comply company's supply chain social responsibility program
- Responsible for compliance management
Skills Required:
- Strategy: CPSM, CPIM, PGDM/MBA (SCM) or equivalent; Strategic thinking.
- Relationship management: Stakeholder credibility; supplier credibility; Change management expertise; Cultural contexts; Consultative sales / sales support skills.
- Domain expertise: Technical depth; supply industry experience; business experience
- Resolving conflicts and negotiating with others: handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
- Communicating with persons outside organization: communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to suppliers, customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
