POSITION SUMMARY
The Application Architecture Sales Consultant (AASC) is part of the pre-sales team at Oracle India. The AASC is involved from an early stage in the sales cycle and continues to be involved throughout the sales campaign. The function of an AASC is to strategically position Oracle Applications Technology at all levels within an organization, to communicate its value in an application selection, and to distinguish Oracle from its competitors.
An AASC must have excellent communication and presentation skills and must be able to articulate the benefits of technology to a business audience in simple terms. Since this position is technical in nature, the AASC should have in-depth understanding of the underlying Oracle Applications Technology stack.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- A Principal Sales Consultant is responsible as an expert for formulating and leading pre-sales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants.
- Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities requiring creative solutions to complex problems.
- Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants.
- Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations.
- Leads all aspects of the technical sales process.
- Advises internal and external clients on complete-stack (i.e. network to application) architecture solutions.
Profile Expected:
- Actual domain HR experience
- Appropriate education in HRMS domain
- Peoplesoft or Oracle HR implementation experience in a large project
- Understanding all HR related Peoplesoft or Oracle EBS modules
- Knowledge/awareness of other functional areas will be an advantage
- Knowledge/implementation experience of both Peoplesoft and EBS will be an advantage
- At least 5 years Peoplesoft and/or EBS implementation experience.
